James Wallace, MD, is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Pediatrics at the University of Rochester, Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with over thirty years of clinical experience, on the team of regional providers for Project TEACH NY since the program’s inception fielding almost 3500 calls, mostly on Fridays, from NYS Primary Care
Providers.

A. Zuckerbrot,
MD
, FAAP, is
an Associate
Professor of
Clinical Psychiatry
at Columbia
University Irving Medical
Center and has
hospital
appointments at both
New York-
Presbyterian
Hospital and New
York State
Psychiatric
Institute.
Board-certified in
child and adolescent
psychiatry and adult
(general)
psychiatry, as well
as board-eligible in
general pediatrics,
Dr. Zuckerbrot has
a particular
interest in linking
primary care and
psychiatry on both a
systems and
individual
level. She has
extensive research
and clinical
experience with
mental health
screening in
pediatric primary
care and is
consulted locally,
nationally, and
internationally
around this topic.
Dr. Zuckerbrot co-authored
the Guidelines for
Adolescent
Depression in
Primary Care
(GLAD-PC), endorsed
by the American
Academy of
Pediatrics as
standard of
care.
Brett
Nelson,
MD,
 is
Medical Director,
Child and Adolescent
Outpatient
Department of Four
Winds Saratoga in
Saratoga Springs, NY
and Medical Director
of Project TEACH
Region 2, Site 1.
Dr. Nelson received
his medical degree
from the University
of South Dakota,
Sanford School of
Medicine and
completed his
psychiatry and child
and adolescent
psychiatry
residencies at the
University of
Florida School of
Medicine. Dr. Nelson
is a board certified
adult and child and
adolescent
psychiatrist.

Dr.
Diane
Bloomfield, MD,
FAAP,
 is
the Associate
Division Chief for
Clinical Affairs in
the Division of
Academic General
Pediatrics at the
Children’s Hospital
at Montefiore, an
Assistant Professor
of Pediatrics at the
Albert Einstein
College of Medicine
and the medical
director of one of
the largest
pediatric practices
at Montefiore
Medical Group.
She has presented at
Project
TEACH’s regional
and local
conferences as well
at the Academic
Pediatric
Association, the
American Academy of
Child and Adolescent
Psychiatrists,
Harvard’s Center on
the Developing
Child, the American
Academy of
Pediatrics and at
the United States
Congress.

Edward
D. Lewis,
MD, FAAP,
 is
a pediatrician who
has been in general
practice since 1981.
He is a Clinical
Professor in
Pediatrics at the
University of
Rochester School of
Medicine and
Dentistry and
participates in
Project Teach as a
PCP champion and
faculty member. He
is serving in his
second term as
president of NY
Chapter 1 of the AAP
and is a past
president of the
Monroe County
Medical Society. He
has participated in
a number of
committees of the
Medical Society of
the State of NY, the
American Medical
Association and the
American Academy of
Pediatrics.
