About

Nicole Pacheco, MD is a Clinical Instructor of Psychiatry at Columbia University Medical Center and is the Women’s and Reproductive Mental Health (WARM) Program Fellowship Director. She completed her psychiatric residency at Columbia University and has done advanced training in women’s mental health. Her clinical focus is on the treatment and evaluation of psychiatric disorders throughout a women’s reproductive life cycle including menstrual-related disorders, perinatal mood disorders, fertility difficulties, child loss, and menopause. Dr. Pacheco has also been heavily involved in health equity work. She founded the June Jackson Christmas (JJC) fourth-year elective at Columbia University which supports students from underrepresented backgrounds in medicine to complete additional training in community psychiatry. She has also served as a member of the Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion for Columbia University’s Psychiatry Department and was previously the American Psychiatric Association (APA) Minority Fellowship Program chair.
