Dr. Zemanek is an assistant professor at SUNY Upstate Medical University in the department of Psychiatry. Her clinical focus is reproductive psychiatry and adult psychiatry. She is involved in graduate medical education and is a lecturer in the women’s mental health didactic series. She is also involved in medical student education at the Norton College of Medicine and acts as a longitudinal clinical preceptor.  She heads the Reproductive Psychiatry Journal Club and acts as a therapeutic lead of a systems-centered women’s therapy group. Dr. Zemanek is the clinical research associate and an investigator on a research grant analyzing the secretion of psychotropic medications in breastmilk. She has presented at national conferences and has published in several peer-reviewed journals.
