The SCC is responsible for the oversight of Project TEACH. It reviews and reports on program performance and applies best practices to:

  • Coordinate and expand services provided in Regions 1, 2 and 3
  • Expand training and consultation services on a statewide basis
  • Serve as a resource for evidence-based best practices that advance mental health for children and youth
  • Evaluate the services provided by Project TEACH and the ongoing statewide impact of the program

The SCC is operated by the Massachusetts General Hospital Psychiatry Academy.

It has more than 65,000 members across the globe. The Psychiatry Academy also provides clinical services, telehealth, and interim leadership to hospitals and health systems.
