Sarah Klagsbrun, MD is the Medical Director of Four Winds Hospital in Katonah, NY and Medical Director of Project TEACH Region 2, Site 2. She is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she received a Teaching Commendation Letter for overall excellence in teaching from the Office of Medical Education. She serves on the board of the New York Council on Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She is also a Distinguished Fellow of both the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Dr. Klagsbrun is a Clinical Instructor in the Division of Primary Care at the Yale School of Nursing in New Haven, CT, a voluntary clinical adjunct professor with the Decker School of Nursing and Health Services at Binghamton University in Binghamton, NY and has a voluntary faculty appointment with the NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing in New York, NY.
Dr. Klagsbrun graduated from Princeton University magna cum laude. She received her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed her psychiatry residency and child psychiatry fellowship at the Payne Whitney Clinic of New York Presbyterian Hospital. She completed an Advanced Child Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Program at the Columbia Psychoanalytic Institute in New York, NY. She is board certified in adult as well as child and adolescent psychiatry.
